I am able to bridge network adapters on Wndows XP but have
not been able to find out how to do it in WIN98. A
possible work around may be to use Internet connection
sharing which I think is a form of bridge.

Before I go doing any experimenting, does anyone have any
ideas?

The network bridge capability is new in Windows XP, and earlier
Windows versions don't have it. Internet Connection Sharing isn't a
network bridge.

What exactly do you want to do? Maybe there's another way to do it.

I have 2 peer to peer networks, one is fast ethernet and
the other is wireless. With this setup two of the
machines can not see each other. The best solution I can
see is to get a network switch with wireless access point.
It shouldn't be too expensive and have plenty of scope for
expansion later.

.... or you could configure what you've got so it works right.
