I am not so sure...
I have a BT business Hub (aka 2Wire 2700HGV) on ADSL MAX that syncs reliably @ 2500 on a 5.5km line.
I recently tried a Draytek 2800 thinking it would be at least as good. Not so - the draytech would
only sync @ 1600. I tried the various flavours of firmware but it made no odds.
IMO the 2700 is an excellent device. Not sure which chipset it uses
