Boot Firmware upgrade?

What is boot firmware. My version on my mn-500 is 0.0.1.02
is that up to date. Thanks

There haven't been any user-upgradable boot firmware code released for the
MN100/500.

Boot firmware is firmware that essentially runs when your router is booting
up (ie after regaining power or from a reset).
