A lot depends on what you want to do with wireless.
If you want to learn about 802.11a, b, and g
(designed mostly for indoor use) then I'd suggest
"802.11 Wireless Networks" by Matthew Gast.
If you want to learn about outdoor wireless Internet
access then I'd recommend my book
"Deploying License-Free Wireless WANs" by
me (Jack Unger).
