i have been trying to setup a Canon bluetooth printer to a T30 with a
bluetooth card. I appear to have a functioning bluetooth connection and my
"Bluetooth Places" lists my Canon printer and when I click "connect" it
appears to. BUT I STILL CANNOT PRINT.
Possibly i suspect the problem is in the COM Port selection, also my
"Wireless Link" has no "bluetooth tab" only "infrared." When installing the
bluetooth drivers WinXPsp2 added 10 com ports which i deleted from device
manager but still appear
in printer and bluetooth choices. ( I corrected by initial instalation using
ms Article ID : 883258)
I have spent the past 2 days trying to set this up - Canon says it's IBM's
issue and IBM says they have no support for their own bluetooth cards even
though my computer still has 2 more years of warranty. PLEASE ADVISE!!!!
