Blue screen after WPA connection comes up

Hi,

After sorting out and earlier issue relating to a setting on my router, I
now have a new problem.

As before, my Linksys Wireless-G notebook adapter works fine with my router
using WEP encryption. When I use WPA encryption, however, just as the
network connection is established, I get a blue screen with an error:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

arising from NDISUIO.SYS, address F40FA580, base F40F9000, date stamp
3e6793e1.

I have a Dell Inspiron 4150 running XP Professional, fully dated in terms of
Windows patches, Linksys driver and router firmware.

Has anybody run into a similar problem?

Has anybody managed to get WPA working on an Inspiron 4150 with a Linksys
Wireless-G adapter?

Any thoughts and comments appreciated.

Regards,

Peter

Of course, I meant "updated", not "dated".

As well, I have found Microsoft KB816500 which describes an error of this
sort (not specific to this circumstance) that is fixed with an update to
PCMCIA.SYS. Has anyone tried this fix?

Regards,
Peter
