If you are using Remote Access on the server you can create input and output
filters on the adapters by configuring that in the Remote Access Management
console under IP routing/general for adapter properties. To just prevent the
server itself you can create an ipsec filtering policy that denies all
access to that IP with a mirrored block all IP rule outbound rule. The link
below explains more on ipsec filtering. Be sure to test your policy out as
they are tricky to configure. There is no good way to log connection
attempts without something like a software firewall. Sygate Pro is very
reasonably priced and has extensive logging. -- Steve
