Black-Out Blind for Screen

Probably silly questions but here goes:

I checked out black-out blinds at my local curtain emporium.

There seem to be two fabrics; fibreglass and polyester.

The texture of the fibreglass seemed too coarse so I'm assuming it'll be
polyester for screen use, yes?

Two more questions:
1) Is the smooth side or the matt side better (I'm guessing matt).

2) White or slightly grey?

This will be for an LCD projector.

TIA,
Tom
