Bittorrent & MN700 Ports

I finally managed to setup my FTP server and Webservers
(what a pain!) and now I'm having trouble with
Bittorrent - specifically Azureus. I've set up forwarding
for port 6881 (Azureus default port) and Azureus dosnt
detect a NAT error, but I'm *still* not getting any
remote connections - limiting my speed to under 5k
(Should be 300+). I've even tried changing the port,
trying 50123 and 4821 among others. Same results. What is
going wrong and how do I fix it?

Are you doing persistent port forwarding? If not you need to change to
that. Also the inbound port & the private port needs to be the same.

Microsoft Broadband Wired and Wireless Network Products
From Edward Roberts:

Open the Broadband Network Utility from the computer to be configured.
Go to Tools > Base Station Management Tool. Enter password made when
setting up network. Go to Security > Port Forwarding. Go to Persistent
Port Forwarding

For BitTorrent: Check Enable. Description: BitTorrent. Inbound Port:
6881 - 6889. Type: TCP. Private IP Address: (is your IP address, can
be found by typing ipconfig at a dos prompt. will be 192.168.?.? with
?'s filled in by your numbers). Private Port: 6881 - 6889. Click
Apply. Restart

Works for me..........

With Bittornado 0.3.1 or higher, there is no need to do this.

Select a port range you want to use, and Bittornado will open and close
ports as necessary.

The current version of the original bit torrent client uses 6881-6999 of
TCP.

Not sure why you replied to a message relating to Bittorrent, but see my
other posting which should answer your question.
