Sense of deja vu here. Had a "walled garden" page from BT at about
11am saying Biscit has ceased trading. This time there is no rescue
offer, but BT will give you MAC codes until Sunday. This is confirmed
at http://www.biscit.net/

The 0808 number doesn't seem to be working this time.

Perhaps they (or someone) should remove their other pages with
immediate effect, for example :

BTW walled garden:- http://194.74.65.98/info.html

The remaining biscit V21 @maxsurf login customers have it seems been sold to breathe
after all http://www.breatheinternet.com/biscit

If you are a maxsurf / eurisp customer with biscit you'll have a job
getting a mac code though, breathe still have'nt got any of the 4,500
customers on their database for a start..

I suggest anyone affected keep an eye on the ispreview forum at :-

What did you press next? I Did 1, then (I think) 1 again, and got "You
are not an ISP, go away" or WTTE. I tried another option and got into
a queue, so gave up. May be easier to wait for cease day.

To answer my own question, the number given by breathe works better:
0800 169 0934, then dial 1 followed by 2 and wait in queue. They know
what you mean when you ask for Biscuit connection codes. You give your
telephone number and they read the code to you. Mine (here's hoping I
got it down right!) was like LZLS1234567/SD89R (digits changed).
