I'm looking at replacing my mishmash of boxes pinched (er, borrowed) from
work. I want an all in one solution to be adsl modem, router, WAP, and also
do VPN tunnel endpoint to connect my network to the office.

I've been looking around, and the Zyxel 662 looks good, but it's a bit
pricey still, wheras the Billion 7402G is a fair bit cheaper and still seems
to do what I want. Thing is, i've never used one before- are they actually
any good? Or are they all feature and no reliability?!

Never actually used any myself but I know someone who uses them
extensively for VoIP applications, he says they are great, reliable,
reasonably priced etc...

The Zyxel routers I've used a few of and have heard they are also spot
on in terms of reliability and stability.

I was just thinking how wonderful life was, when "JamesB"

I used to have a Billion 7402R2 and then I had the Wi-Fi version,
forget the model number.

I thought they were the male dog's dangly gonads until I got a
SpeedTouch 585.

Would not use a Billion again as a main router. tech support is shite
too BTW.
