Best Wireless PC Card for Laptop Internet

What's a good wireless PC Card for laptop internet connections?

I travel frequently on business and a lot of hotels and motels are
installing wireless broadband.

I installed a Linksys WPC11 V4 in my IBM T20 the other day. It installed ok
in Win98SE and both lights come on but I couldn't get it to connect to the
internet at 2 different motels.

I've heard that some brands are better than others.

Any opinions?

My family has three laptops and I installed Belken 54G's on two of them.
They were easy to install and they have picked up signals at an airport and
a Hampton Inn with no problem.

Orinoco (from Proxim) is reputed to have the best radio.
The gold versions also have antenna connector, short pigtail can make the
difference.
