hi all,
plan to add wireless to my home DSL network, but need some advices from this
newgroup:

Current have:

LinkSys 4 ports router, and wired all desktops and laptops in my house, and
also have 2 Panasonics Cordless 2.4Ghz phones

Plan to add:

802.11G Wireless Access Point, and fews PCMCIA Wireless 802.11G for those
laptops

1.Any problem with this setup with my existing 2.4Ghz Cordless Phones ?
2. Which brand is the best for this setup in term of
Setup/Performance/Security

Thanks for all advices

I'm running a similar setup right now. My wired LAN runs on a Linksys
BEFSR41. I recently added a Linksys BEFW11S4 router. By turning off DHCP,
I've gained a few more LAN ports in addition to the wireless.

The 802.11b wireless lives quite well with my 2 Vtech 2.4 Ghz phones. I
think the key is that they are Digital Spread Spectrum (DSS) phones. Since
they "channel hop" so fast, I don't think they get a chance to intefere with
my WiFi gear.
