Best way to sync directory

I need to mirror a directory between a win2k server and a winXP notebook. I
want to have a directory on both machines that always contain the same
files. If I add a file to XP machine while it's disconnected from the
network I want the file to be placed on the NT machine as soon as it
connects and vise-versa.

Is there an easy way to do this?

You can setup offline folders. Open the folder on the xp
machine then go to tools->folder options. Select the
offline files tab. Enable offline files. That should do it.
Sounds like you'll want to select the option to sychonize
files when you log onto the network.

Thanks, that was easy.

One question as far a performance, will there be any problems synchronizing
if the directory I want to share is very large. Say it has 500 subfolders
each with about 20 files 2-5meg in size? Will it know which files have been
added without having to scan every file in every directory everytime I
connect?
