Hi All

I'm looking for supporting documentation on what the best practice is for
placing database servers.

We have created our own "DBZ" zone, but I know of many others who put their
databases in the "DMZ" zone. (We have both DMZ and DBZ, but I was thinking
of combing them.)

Is there a "best practice" documentation that I can refer to, that I can
show our V.P. of IT?

Thank you!

L. L.

Mr. Lambert,

You'll not readily find documentation on something like this. When you get
to something at that level, there are usually so many variables and
considerations that you will want to evaluate to make sure you are meeting
SLAs, security needs, and availability needs.

If you have specific architecture questions, I'd be happy to help though.
