what is the best pci dvb card to get?

gonna purchase one soon, so i can get satellite internet broadband
connection.

can someone tell me the best DVB card to get, both in performance terms and
the amount of services available to the card i.e. radio stations, tv,
internet etc..

I have been researching for the same thing in the last few days. The general
consensus is that the model on the following link is the most recommended

i am looking to use my satellite dish (sky digital), so i will need to buy a
twin output universal LNB too, you planning on a similar setup?

What satellite isp you looking at currently?

I am looking at Central Point. They have very favourable reviews on
www.ispreview.co.uk
They do satellite internet via the same signal as sky digital, so no need to
re-align the dish, just need to put a twin or quad lnb on the dish.
Still not sure whether I am going to get satellite yet. I am not sure I can
justify the cost so soon before christmas, so may get it in the new year.
Central Point support have been very helpful though and have advised on
which equipment to get. They wont install for you though unless you are in
East Anglia, which is why I would install it myself.
I have decided to get the satellite internet with this company, its just a
question of when.

i have ordered the twin lnb now and the pci card you suggested, they sound
the best to me too, so thats good.

I will now look into the isp side of things a little more, i will let you
know how things go, i was looking around the other day at isp's and i
noticed someone give you a free trial before you sign up with them, so i
will try and find this isp again, and see what satellite net is really like,
hopefully a LOT better than 4.6k downloads! hahaha

That might have been Central Point who are giving the free trial.
