My guess is that they're trying to run up a competitor's account.
Everytime someone clicks on that link, someone is paying Google. Post
it to a bunch of newsgroups, the advertiser gets a bunch of useless
traffic but has to pay for every click. Maybe get enough crap clicks to
drain their account and stop their advertising campaign.
