I am currently on PlusNet Broadband Home Lite 2Mb 20:1 variant with
included 3GB bandwidth £26.99 (monthly) and because of the changes
lately with their offers, i.e. offering me 20:1 for an extra £10, (which
I accepted), and now future cut-offs if inactive for 30mins, I am not
sure if i am getting a good deal. I am not as "clued-in" to the best
offers and service available from ISPs and find the website somewhat
difficult to make comparisons so I would be grateful for any advice in
this matter as I never originally intended to spend more than £20 a
month.

Apologies for seeming to repeat this query elsewhere in this NG, I had
attempted to correct a sentence above which had words omitted. It should
have read, "I am not as >"clued-in" to the best offers and service
available from ISPs "as others in this NG"), my apologies again.

If you are in a Telewest area then they are soon to be offering a good
deal - £18 for 2 meg, £25 for 4 meg and £35 for 10 meg - all uncapped

I think they start rolling this out in September.

Admittedly they are not so good value at the moment but I'm sticking
with them and waiting for my 4 meg line!

I am extremely happy with Freedom2Surf. 10GB @ up to 8MBPS for £19.99.
