My BT Voyager 100 ADSL modem is misbehaving so I'm thinking of getting a
wireless modem/router. I currently run a wireless ad hoc network using
Belkin cards (54Mbits).

Can anyone recommend a good (and cheap) wireless modem/router?

Cheers.

Bobby

Assuming you want a 54G one, consider:

Belkin 7630
Netgear 834G
Linksys WAG54G
USR 9106

I have a Belkin F5D7230UK and it is less than £100, got 5 stars from a computer
mag, piece of piss to set up, had no problems with it.

Can you tell me where you bought it at this price? Does it support 54Mbit?

Best (not cheapest) is Draytek Vigor 2600We (or 2600G if you intend to
stream video between your computers).

The F5D7230 won't work (by itself) with an ADSL line - as it doesn't contain
a ADSL modem - you need the 7630 version for that.

The 7230 version would be used for cable modem customers who don't need an
ADSL modem etc..

Sunil

Thanks Mike, but this page lists wireless *routers*. I'm looking for a
wireless router/modem to replace my crappy BT Voyager crap-job.
