I want to connect 2 wired networks that are about 1.5 miles apart
wirelessly -- to both share files and share a wireless internet
connection that is connected to one of the wired networks.
AP's will be mast mounted in waterproof enclosures immediately next to
the parabolic dish antennas using POE. LOS is present.
I want WPA available, and VPN pass-through would be nice, but perhaps
not necessary. AP's that can be tweaked in terms of power output (or
are relatively high output) would be a plus.
I've been looking at the DWL-2000AP, but am open to suggestion from
those that have already attempted this. The DI-624 looks good from
the standpoint of security, but I'm not sure it is appropriate for my
proposed usage.
