Best ADSL Router / 802.11b hardware options for potentially problematic building

Hi,

I have a requirement to supply ADSL access wirelessly to numerous rooms
located on different floors in a large building with plenty of steel
construction in it.

Would someone be able to offer some guidelines as to what hardware
infrastructure would be recommended?

I have been looking a D-Link DSL 604+, but I am concerned about range and
interference. Am I going to need more powerful wireless kit, or will this
type of box be able to give a good signal over 3 floors in this type of
situation?

Make sure you get one with twin, removable aerials so that you can
reposition the aerials and/or replace them with ones that give better gain.

You may still need some form of repeater too.

I would say that wireless should always be the LAST choice not the first
so you should probably look at wired options before wireless.
