Beryl/Compiz

Hi Im new to Linux, but I can install them and use it for
wordprocessing. i just need to know what Distro has a built in VLC and
Beryl or COmpiz. I dont have an Internet connection. nad as read from
some how to's you need an internet connection to install them. But
maybe some of you know how to do it without internet connection. Im
very willing to learn.
