Hi all,

I have been using two of these adaptors for about 2 months with little probs
to connect two PC's in ad hoc mode. I have been sharing files and internet
connections with reliable success. Signal strength was good 95-100% most of
the time.

Suddenly they just won't work. This is following updates of Windows XP.

I have tried old drivers, new drivers. The drivers that XP suggests, (it
misidentifies the adaptor.)

I have tried Belkins software, windows setups. Is this card a piece of
Junk?

Anyone manage to get these working well and how?

What would anyone recommend as a reliable cheap alternative. I am
interested in the faster 54mb cards, but might settle for a nice cheap
reliable 11/22mb solution.

Thanks in advance.

tony d.
