Belkin router WEP passphrase problem

I have a Belkin wireless router that uses a passphrase to create a 128
bit WEP key. The problem is that it doesn't reveal the hex equivalent
of it and my wireless card needs a hex key instead of a
passphrase(Belkin terminology - not sure if it's a universal term).

What do i do?

Surely it must somewhere? Either that or ignore the passphrase and
enter the wep key yourself.

I can't see how they could have a product with a proprietary key
generation algorithm which needs to offer a key for external use and not
expose it?

David.

My F5D7230-4 shows in on the Wireless->Security page, maybe you need to
upgrade the firmware?

Since the Belkin doesn't reveal the 128 bit hex produced by the
passphrase I found that I can enter the key manually instead.

Thanks to those that replied.
