Can anyone give me a hand with setting up security on my cable router and
seperate wireless card.

I've got a F5D7230-4 Router and setting the security on it was easy. I got
various options on type including 64 & 128 bit that can be generated through
a pass key. So that was done.

I used to use a USB wireless pod and that also had the option of a pass key
and they matched up, the encryption worked and all was great. I changed to
the card as it had the 54g option and I was moving big files about.

I'm now using a F5D7000 and it doesn't give me a pass key option only a
Network key and I've no idea what to input and what format to type. The
router gives me lots of key boxes with 2 digit hex figures across 4 key
lines. It's not easy to type all of them in on the card settings page as it
auto covers as I type. I've got it working at the moment but with no
security and I don't want to leave it like this.

Any help would be great.

Ron
