I also have a Belkin Router and USB adapter.
I use them for my internet and lan.
I use win xp pro with Client for MS networks and printer and file
sharing.
All works fine.
As long as you have the proper MS services running there is no
problem.
I even have turned on and oof the firewalls with the individual
machines to test the Belkin firewall.
To see the other machines on the network, the individual firewalls
need to be down. At least I can't see anything outside each machine
with them up.
