Belkin G+ router will not route requests to my Linksys WVC11B

Hi,

Just moved in with a roomate not long ago and he has this Belkin G+
router. It works fine with my computers (and the two other machines in
the house) and my Linksys IP Cam (WVC11B) works locally with it as
well. The problem i'm having is getting the Router to forward requests
to the cam from outside. I have the cam set for an alternate port of
1500 (I don't know where I got that number from, just pulled it out of
this air) but have also tried port 8080 and have not been able to get
the router to "route".

Any suggestions?
