I'm using the lastest firmware from their site , 3.00.07. Any changes
I make are not kept after a reboot. Still waiting on tech support to
return call after 2 days. Cannot enable security features but unit
works in dynamic mode with factory defaults.
TIA,
Bill

I have the same router and it would not work at all to connect to the
internet until I downloaded and installed the latest firmware. It
works perfectly now. I just set up and enabled wpa tonight and it was
a breeze once I figured out that I needed the XP add on for WPA. Are
you going through all the hoops in the browser based setup screens?
Hitting all the "confirm changes boxes" and such?
You might try reloading the firmware. I have read of others in this
NG that had issues with the firmware not "taking" the first time
although I had no problem with it. Good Luck
John

I have two Belkin F5D6130. The settings were set a few days ago and
my wireless nodes found the AP fine. Now I've gone back to check the
AP config and almost every settings is different. Even after I
reenter my settings, it reverts back to the wrong settings. The weird
thing is that my wireless nodes still recognize the AP even with the
wrong settings. Do I have to upgrade the firmware? How often does
upgrading firmware need to be done? The Associated Stations value is
2346. Surely that doesn't mean that 2346 wireless nodes are connected
to the AP, does it?

Don't E-mail me. Please reply to newsgroup with your comments.
THANKS...
