Belkin F5D6230 (partial workaround)

Someone posted a complaint back in May about this router.

The problem is that the newest firmware leaves your port 80 open for
scanners to see. And Belkin has not provided an updated firmware that
fixes this... nor have they made the older firmware versions
available.

You can avoid leaving port 80 open with the following workaround:
1. login to the management page in your web browser
2. Click on "Initial Setup"
3. Under "Security" click on "Virtual Server"
4. Now, create an entry for Public Port 80. Point it to a fake ip
address and port on your local network.
5. Click Enter

Port 80 should now be stealthed as long as you never have a computer
at the fake ip address you used.

Unfortunately, this does not fix two other problems that I discovered
with this device. Port 88 shows up as open to the outside. Port "0"
responds as closed. The router will not let you reroute port 0 or
port 88.

BTW, this problem shows up even when you disable remote management.
