I just got a Belkin F5D6020 ver. 2 and got it working at home
fairly easily using the Amtel driver

But, I have tried to connect to both "T-Mobile" and "WISE" hotspots
without success.

I am using the Belkin Wireless gateway router (F5D6231-4) at home. I
am running
RH8.0 and I have tried both redhat-config-network and ifconfig to
start the
connection, but I get an error message saying "Cannot assign requested
address".

Since my connection works at home, the card most be OK and the driver
and
configuration seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need
to
change in the configuration to get my card to connect at locations
besides
my home wireless network?

Thanks,
Gary Whitten
