Belkin 7630 - fixed IP address on network?

I have a Belkin comined adsl modem/router/wireless access point. It allocates
IP addresses to connected machines on the local network using DHCP.

I want to be able to fix the local IP address of my main computer - I could do
this easily on my Alcatel SpeedTouch Pro just by entering the mac address of
the machine in a table.

Anyone know how to accomplish the same thing with the Belkin 7630?

Cheers.

Set the IP for the computer in 'Network Connections' in control panel. You
do not have to do anything on the router except forward the ports you need
to the static IP.

But make sure that it is outside the range (but within the same subnet)
that your router uses for DHCP allocation.

Many thanks. I set my router to use the address range 10.0.0.2 -> 10.0.0.100 and
set my computer manually to 10.0.0.101. I needed to enter my IP's DNS
addresses manually too, as well as the router IP address (10.0.0.1).

Once I did all that, everything worked.
