We have a Belkin WiFi router that appears to stop transmitting a usable
2.4GHz signal in hot weather. Turning it upside down helps as the vent holes
are on the bottom but surely these boxes should work to at least 30 degrees.

Anyone else suffered similar problems?

What sort of surface is it sitting on? Some surfaces don't conduct the heat
away very well.

Mine certainly runs hot - around 30-35C. I raise it up on a pair of
old audio cassette cases on edge so it's got as much air around it as
poss.

Belkin is the cause of all the problems. I've had massive hassles with
their kit this last week - solved by replacing with BT branded kit.

Mine does exactly the same thing, all the status lights turn orange, wired
computers connected to the router report the connection speed as 10mbs and
the wireless signal stops dead.

Its currently upside down with a fan blowing on it
