No response from Belkin so far on what it means "you are subscribed to
reporting." on their 54g setup screen. If you have a 54G router, check out
the parental control feature.

I looked through the parental controls documentation and it is part of
theiir pay to subscribe after 6 month free trial service. You would
have to give them a BankCard number to subscribe to the service. I
think the updated firmware is just different enough from the included
documentation that if isn't spelled out very well. What "reporting"
does if you pay for the service over and above the parental controls
service (which they offer for 6 months free) is keep a record of any
parental control overrides and what websites are accessed or denied.
I'm reasonably confident that they are not going to keep track of your
usage on their nickel. But then again maybe "big brother" really is
watching you!

You know, I also found that the Linksys WPC11 driver was connecting out to
several IP(s) at some consumer research sites. I just happened to notice
this using Active Ports. I did tell the host based FW on the machine to
block the communications of the WPC11 driver program.

Someone is always trying to spy on the consumer's activty while using his
or her computer.
