befw11s4 ver3 - wireless system halts on big transfers

Hello,
I am using the befw11s4 ver3 by linksys bought at bestbuy like a year ago.
Recently I updated to the latest firmware and as soon as I try to transfer
files >1 GB the wireless system halts and any transfer on the wireless part
stops meanwhile my computer that is hooked up to it wired still works fine.
Anyone experienced the same?
I have a hard time finding older firmware on linksys webpage anyone can
point me to the older versions?

This is not a new problem. I have had my BEFW11SW V4 replaced by Linksys
once and now the new one is doing the same thing. Linksys tech support does
not see the problem. It is hard enough talking to them as most don't speek
english very well. I have had to ask them to repeat what they say over and
over. I now find out they are in India. It is about time Cisco (who now
owns linksys) to bring them into the real world of support. T

doesnt sound too promising - anyway I didnt experience those problems with
the v3 until i flashed to the new version. Well I will give them a call and
ask for the old firmware.

old befw11s4 firmware can be found in ftp.linksys.com/pub/befsr41
