Hello

I am trying to find out, if BEFW11S4 will be suitable for my needs. To do
so, I need to get an anserw to one question. I hope, that I will recive a
good anserw here. The question is: Will wireless network based on
BEFW11S4 work, if there are any walls etween the BEFW11S4 unit and
wireless cards?
I am planning to set a network between three houses (about 20 meters
apart) and I am wondering, if BEFW11S4 will work...

With respect

Slight chance if you put it on the roof. That's providing the ceilings
aren't brick.

Will a wireless network work through interior walls in a typical house?
Yes.

Will a wireless network work through a combination of interior walls,
exterior walls, and trees over a distance spanning 3 separate houses with 20
meters/60 feet between each? That is unlikely without at least some
additional antenna arrangement. An off the shelf wireless router will not
have sufficient range.

I have a BEFW11S4, and over 25 feet from a wireless card it's useless.

Interesting. I have the old BEFW11S4 v1, and I get no packet loss
at 11 Mb/s up to 20-25 *yards* I would expect the same, or slightly
better range, with newer (v2/v3, maybe v4) BEFW11S4s.
