There seems to be quite a bit more content available from the BBC
Broadband website than before, but as I don't have broadband could
someone say what bit rates they're using for the TV and radio live
streams and files?

Is that for video? That's bleeding awful.

What's the bit rate of the 1Xtra live stream and the BBC7 content?

They do broadcast online content at higher bitrates, but it is only
available to you if your isp is participating in the BBC multicast trial.

You don't want to know. You'd only go on about it for the next 10 years.

I take it you mean 1 Mbps download? That's not bad. What's your
broadband connection speed?

And could you tell me what the bit rate is of the live 1Xtra stream?
