BB and phone at same time

Hi,
This is my current situation.
I have a 2nd line upstairs that is used for broadband and the normal phone
line for downstairs. When we had a second sky box installed upstairs (it
needs to be plugged into the same phone number), I put in a BT extension
kit(http://tinyurl.com/w7m7). This basically gives another box upstairs from
the downstairs number. The phone downstairs is plugged into a 3m extension
cable then into the downstairs box. If I plugged the downstairs extension
cable into a filter then into the downstairs box and a filter on the end of
the BB modem into the extension kit box upstairs, would I be able to surf
and talk at the same time?
If I can get rid of the 2nd line, the money I save from the line rental can
upgrade me to a 1mb line and have money left over. I was going to get the
Freeserve trial just to test it but would rather do without the hassle.
Thanks
Andy

ADSL BB and voice use the same line with a filter and can be used
simultaneously; you don't need two lines

Rule of thumb is, you need a filter for each phone/modem, so you would need
one for each of the sky boxes, one for your ordinary phone, and that one you
could plug in your adsl modem too!

Great, that's just what I wanted to hear.
So it doesn't matter that extension cables are used as long as a filter is
on end the end of each?
