battery powered USB-to-wireless?

I'm looking to attach a USB-to-wireless device to a Palm
handheld computer which lacks an SDIO or other slot.
It has a USB slot for syncing, and I can get an adaptor
to convert from "big" USB to "small" which the PDA has.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any USB-to-wireless
device that runs off of batteries, because the PDA can't
possibly power anything but itself.

Converting big to small is the least of the problems. You
also need to convert slave to master, and that is both a
hardware and software problem. In short this will not work.
