provider. When i login for work there with ssh there is no problem..
everything works as it should be.... but when i login from home truh
ssh commands like "i" to get into a vi an stuff like that doesn't
work....??? My provider says it has to be sometihing at my home or
computer...But it does it from my linux, winxp pc and laptop... Can
int be something with my router???? Because i have a diverend provider

I'm unfamiliar with this. Are you saying that when you start vi, that
"i" doesn't put you in insert mode? Or insert mode messes up your
screen? And what "stuff" are you talking about?

what is "it" that "it" does.

You are describing a problem with a program, not the network. My guess
is you're using the wrong terminal type, but with the information you've
given a guess is all that is.

While I may get flamed for this -- Please make an attempt to proofread
your post, keep in mind that what is obvious to you, isn't known to
others. Checking your spelling and grammar might be nice as well.

It could be MTU related. Try reducing your MTU from 15xx to 1400.
