Basic Network Question

I have a business with a 2k3 server in one location and another 2k3 server in
another location. Both are on DSL lines with static IP's. I need a
workstation on one server to access the data (or run the program) on the
other server. We have used PCAnywhere and Network Magic, but are very
dissappointed with the speed. Would Terminal Services help the speed issue,
or is there another, better solution for making this connection?

This is probably basic for some of you, but I really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Whit

It should be a little bit smoother than PCA or NM.
It does seem to be better otimized for slower links.
I use it here.

Terminal Services (or RDP) over DSL is very quick. It is only really a
problem if you need to move data back and forth between the client and the
server.
You can easily try it by making a connection with the Remote Desktop Client.

What he said.

I've looked at the bandwidth requirements for Remote Desktop and they're
miniscule especially when compared to apps like VNC. I believe RD sends vector
data whereas most other apps send compressed bitmap data. And the video quality
is excellent with RD.

Thanks everyone for your input- I'll setup remote desktop and see how it
goes! It's helps to know before I try another option, that others have had
success and would recommend it.

Thanks,
Whit
