FTP only uses 20 and 21 intitially, but all subsequent connections (client
ports) can be about anything in the book although they may typically fall in
the random dynamic Range of 2400 - 5000. Search for articals about working
with FTP on
www.isaserver.org. It is all ISA centric, but the same
principles still apply. You may want to focus on FTP with ISA and SecureNAT
clients since your firewall is basically a "NAT box". I'll tell you now that
FTP does not paint a "pretty picture" when it comes to keeping a system
secure.
