Well all it seem to me that Microsoft have missed the boat
on deploying the new G speed wireless system with its
Windows XP product.

I am looking at this newsgroup and it seem that everyone
is have the same problem connecting the wireless adapt to
the Base Station. I am seeing that everyone is getting
the same error message and I can tell you that tech.
support is not only not much help but no help at all.

With this said I guess you can tell that I am not in the
boat to recommend the product to anyone else. My
suggestion to look at other manf. since it seem that
Microsoft is aware of the problem and is doing very little
to correct it.

I guess I am you of the lucky one I have not had my kit
that long and I can and will returrn it for a refund and
look for another Manf.

Hi Maurice,

If you could share some details on the problem you are having, your
configuration and any errors, perhaps we could assist.

Marc,

Just pick a post... they are all the same. The wireless
connection drops out randomly on all configurations with
the MN-700. ie.) MN-700 & 720 or 700 and 730, etc, etc.
Read the posts... you'll see how many people are facing
this issue.

Thanks,

Dee Dubya.

Sorry, but I don't see posts that are "all the same". What specific issue
are you having Maurice or Dee? Connection drops? Have you updated the
firmware? What is your configuration and what are your symptoms?

Marc,

I just got my replacement router today, so I'm going to
try and run with the old firmware for a few days to see
if I get the problem running the old firmware. When I got
my first router I updated the firmware immediately...
Possibly there is a bug in the firmware.

I'll keep you posted.
