I can't start the Base Station Management tool from any
computer on the network.
Whenever I start the Broadband Network Utility the Base
Station Management tool is greyed out and not available.

Is there a reason why you want to use the Management Tool instead of a web
browser?

If you're running ATI's Hydravision or using any skinning programs, this can
happen.

Hi,

Try opening the Base Station Management Tool from your Internet web browser.
In the address bar type in http://192.168.2.1 this is assuming you haven't
changed the IP address of your base station.

Open Internet Explorer
Enter http://192.168.2.1 (or the ip address of the Base Station if you have
changed it) into the address field of Internet Explorer. Hit return.

Note that you now have the logon screen for the base station.

Drag the url from the address field of Internet Explorer to the desktop. A
shortcut will be created.
Rename it Base Station Management Tool
Put it in the Start Menu in the same folder as the Broadband Network Utility

Now forget that you ever tried to use the Broadband Network Utility to
access the Base Station Management Tool

This has been a problem with The BNU for a long time, and nobody seems to be
able to explain why it happens. It seems to be a little better in SP2.
However, nobody cares because they can access the BSMT by using the above
url.

Hope this helps.
