I see nothing's changed from the Blueyonder days then. Still a bunch of
arrogant tossers.

Yeah, they normally do if you persist is swearing, still you cancelled
your service anyway, I thought you was just using the newsgroup to get
them to cut you off, so you don't have to pay the month out.

Yes but all ISP's are the same these days they want to take as much
money has they can of us and give sod all in return except poor or
none existent service but VM are showing themselves to be a cut above
the rest with the proposed charging for a support service that isn't
worthy of the name. They have bloody cheek to even think of making
customers pay to talk to the useless bafoons in India that don't have
a clue if you ask me.

Come back to Plusnet, Graham - they're very tolerant towards "challenging"
customers, as you will recall - and possess a sense of humour!
;-)

For those who don't see the VM groups, here's some background.

Eeyore has been waging a one-man war against VM as he feels he's been
illtreated. Despite getting his BB for a 60% discount, he's still not
happy and has made his opinion vigorously known.

Anyway this has become ugly with most recently some fairly wild
accusations coming out. The 'question' mentioned above for instance
went "It strikes me as CRIMINAL to charge a user to report a fault.
But, hey. rich bastards don't care." which isn't entirely a question
per se.

Anyway at 17:51 today he was /warned/ for abusive language, asked to
refrain from it and advised that he'd be reported to the abuse team if
he continued. Obviously if he made an abusive response to that
request....

In addition he's already cancelled the service. So its possible that's
what has caused his access to be revoked.

I got a warning letter from Virgin for calling someone a 'pussy' on their
forums...

I sent in my cancellation the same day, joined Zen and now have the internet
how it should be.

I was banned from NTL years ago after I questioned why someone claiming to
be disabled and on benefits could do work he described. He posted two
messages and slipped up, it turns out he was a benefit fraudster. NTL's Mr
Hughes decided to act because the man was shouting the word "disability"
with his complaint. He was annoyed at being caught out. I was given an
apology by NTL but cancelled as I wasn't that happy with their service. It
certainly wasn't good value.
Just post through another news server.

VM newsgroups aren't a part of the internet.. as you well know now that you
don't have them.
