I am on a network of about 6 machines all behind a Cisco router and a
Cisco firewall. I am trying to find out if our traffic is enough to
warrant getting another T1, but am not sure how to do this. DOes
anyone have any suggestions?

Shouldn't be that difficult, try www.mrtg.org, enable/configure
snmp on your cisco, if it isn't already, setup mrtg to query the
router, there are AFAIK some examples to setup mrtg to query some
cisco, enable apache on the box running mrtg, let it run for some
weeks after you are sure it is working probably. Now you should
have some nice pics showing if your bandwidth is already maxed
out.

Good luck

Remove +SIGNS and www. if you expect an answer, sorry for
inconvenience, but I get tons of spam.

You can talk to a cisco, can't you? And get its stats.

If you have Cisco equipment, I imaging you could also use netflow/sflow
to analyse your throughput as well.

But mrtg would be the simpler way.
