Does anybody know what does the term "bandwidth hog" mean?

It means someone (or something, like an application) that "uses up" (hogs)
all the bandwidth. Eg. P2P programs with default settings will tend to be bw
hogs as they use all available upstream and downstream bw to share files.

someone or something (eg an application) using a lot of bandwidth or
capacity on an internet connection. Typically this is a peer to peer
file sharing application (or person using the same) which is
configured to use *all* the available bandwidth on a conneciton.

As with any unquantifiable term like that, it means whatever the person
using it wants it to mean.
