After 3 weeks I finally had my first total win98 meltdown and had to
completely reinstall the system. Then it was time to reinstall
everything else, so I'm back to the Intel combo PC card.

Intel instructions say specifically to start the system and insert the
card hot, which worked before. But now it simply hard crashes the
system and gives me a black screen.

Suggestions? Comments?

Jim L

The hot plugin was supposed to be the first step in installing the
drivers.

I reinstalled Win98 and it no longer crashes when plugging the card in
hot.

Reporters complain that Guantanamo interrogators use psychological
pressure on prisoners. Too bad the reporters aren't the ones those guys
were shooting.
