AXIS - in Network Connections?

Does this ring a bell with anyone please? In my XP Home PC (no
network), Control Panel>Network Connections brings up a menu listing
all my connections, (plus a couple of wizards). Apart from my old DUN
connections and BT Broadband itself, there's one other I've only just
noticed called 'AXIS'. It looks identical to the BT Broadband entry in
all respects; same icon, same Properties.

But I'm darned if I know what it is. Any ideas anyone please?

(I regularly run Adaware and Spybot, BTW.)

Thanks, but no. (My googling found several references to Axis; I'm
guessing that's why you ask?)

No doubt it's the Axis Porn Dialler.

Is your Ad-Aware and Search & Destroy up to date?
Anyway if you haven't got an dialup modem connected I wouldn't get too
paranoid.
