My exchange has reached its trigger level and is awaiting its ready for
service date - how long does this take - and how far in the future is the
actual activation likely to be?

Well, my exchange waited for the date for about 2 or 3 weeks after
reaching the trigger level. That was roughly a month ago now.

Service date is early Feb 2004, the 4th to be accurate, so expect to wait
somewhere in the region of 3 to 4 months.

Try http://www.adslguide.org.uk/availabi...asp?order=trig

and type in the name of your exchange.
