Hello,
I want to use the laptop in two different locations(networks) and to
reconfigure itself for each one.
Location 1 is my home network, ad hoc, WEP using Netbios over IPX/ISX, File
and Printer sharing, with a dialup (ie separate) Internet connection so no
firewall and,
Location 2 the public access network available in my town, infrastructure,
Open authentication using TCP/IP obviously as this is purely for broadband
internet so no File and printer sharing wanted but firewall.

Wireless zero config. automatically takes care of the wireless connections
but
can I get XP to reconfigure the network settings and firewall for the
connection according to the network it is connected to?

Hope this makes sense,
ern.

Thank you for the link. That FAQ raises some more questions for another
post.

Regards,
ern.
